Colorado College Recording Studio

This project featured conversion of a Music Technology Classroom into a fully equipped modern recording studio including a live performance studio, teaching control room, and isolation booth. These new spaces greatly enrich the electronic music and music technology course offerings at Colorado College by supporting student and faculty audio recording projects and providing infrastructure for video recording projects and live streaming music performances. Soundpost provided comprehensive design services for the project, including sound isolation, noise control, room acoustics, and recording system design. The design includes a signature sound-diffusing flagstone wall, Dante audio networking, and bench seating which doubles as low frequency sound absorption.
